My Bad, (engage fingers before adjusting brain) I meant the NHC 855 the 809s origionally were shipped with. Thanks for finding, and correcting, my mistake Eldgen.
I started life as a 12B, to you young guys, thats kinda like a 21B :cookoo:. I was licensed to drive anything Uncle had on tires, including loaders and forklifts. My main ride was an M35A2 NA, which was a bear, and really liked fuel points. HEMTTs are really sweet, and I liked getting beaten...
Nick, every piece of equipment has a logbook, which contains a copy of the hand receipt ( mil version of a registration) and it goes everywhere the equipment does. If Soldier A is taking a Water Buffalo to get filled, he is "supposed" to have the logbook for the trailer with him in the towing...
I have found a few, and all 1962s I have found were made by JETA MFG. I dont think they are related to the company with the same name in Neenah, WI
Hope it helps
Chuck, I believe RL was refering to the residual pressure valve, not the vent. It should maintain 6-8psi on the WC boots. On vehicles with disc brakes, the circuit without drums gets it removed.

It appears to be a first gen HEMTT, maybe an M977, but i dont see the spare-tire holder, should be rightbehind the A-Driver's door.
She is nice though. Might be a fixer if I had the time, space, $

400hp and 1200lbft isn’t really too impressive for a 506ci engine you have dumped a ton of money into. you can do that with the 6b, (359ci)if you’re trying to prove something. The NHC, while old, has proven itself a reliable beast. with a little boost(10psi) you’re right at the same hp and...
TB 43-0209 is the 1990 version, has unit markings and the correct stencils. I have the font if you wanna print your lettering on the puter, Ill e-mail it
Not THAT crazy. I think it might be an interesting project. Gonna be a long, difficult one though. Well, youre starting with a commercially well received engine and trans(Detroit 60 series and an Allison HT740. The downside I see is that the un-stretched tractor has a turning radius of 80'...
I tend to agree with a prior post, you should check the by-laws about parking on the street. Im sure after having to look "at that blemish on our beautiful family community" sitting right out on the street, they may change their tune a little. And if not, point out all the other residents who...
In MD we can get a genuine "old" tags, and link it to our historic tags, as long as we have our current tag in the vehicle.
As you're making your own, I really like the NATO tag! It'll keep them guessing, too.
