Adding 2 stroke oil to diesel fuel will help lubricate the IP.... LS Diesel doenst have the best lubricating properties. There are other additives, tons of folks here on SS swear by 2 cycle oil. In addtion, 2 cycle oil is the least expensive route to other additives.

Dont let them paint it either.....

LMC carries dash covers 99.95, or a dash protector 44.95...... I'd suggest a junk yard for a replacement
