Are the bearings sealed on the m1114 style turrets? What's recommended for maintenance to keep them spinning freely, along with the other moving parts like lock and hand crank.
I've heard Ohio is one of the easier places, but I was wondering if anyone here has purchased a hmmwv without title and was able to get it titled in Ohio.
I have TM 9-2320-280-24P-1 HMMWV Parts vol 1.pdf (and vol2) which shows the exploded parts diagrams of the turret. I assume this is the older version. Are there any TM's for the late model turret?
I've seen some of the bulkhead dividers for the hmmwv bed that have L shaped brackets sold with them. But then I've seen some pictures of the back of hmmwv's with the bulkhead appearing to slip down into these slotted brackets on each end of the bulkhead. Does anyone know what all is required...
Are there any well known shipping web sites where transporters can bid on your shipment? I'm sure some of these smaller trucking companies trying to fill up their load would be cheaper than some of the quotes I'm looking for. Currently looking for a shipment from CA to OH.
Does anyone know if a slant back kit can disassemble, so the 2 sponsons can disconnect from each other? Or is everything rivetted together? Anyone know the dimensions?
When the hmmwv is setup as a 2 man truck with the troop seats, etc in the back, are there parts to cover the holes where the 2 back seats normally would be, so there aren't holes in the truck's box?
I just purchased a hmmwv slant back rear parts kit from a guy out in Toms River, NJ. Anyone by chance coming out that way to Ohio for Easter weekend that could bring it back for me?
I've logged in and out but still don't see today's PMs. I do have the alert from my email though. Yesterday's PM's are the latest ones that show up on the website though. Something I'm doing wrong?
Does anyone know of any 3rd parties that will deal locally with GL for you. ie, you pay, then the broker picks up equipment and coordinates shipping, etc.. The items I want to bid on are all too far for me to travel to. Anyone on this forum do it?
There are quite a few different radios listed on various sites that all say they're from a hmmwv. Can anyone list the radios that were actually available for them originally? Also, are these radios all encrypted or anything, or if I buy one can it operate with same specs as a CB?
Can someone tell me what the actual antenna bracket looks like on a hmmwv? I've seen a bunch of different variants on $bay. Just wondering which one is actually the correct match.
