I just won a truck at Ft Lewis I just noticed the switch to engage the front end is missing from the dash. Does this mean that the front is always engaged and I just have to switch between high and low? It is a 1968 model

Did anyone score any trucks from FT Lewis, they had a lot of them up there and looked to be in good shape. Most of the descriptions said they ran or needed a jump to run. Not to many sold for over 1500 bucks

Looking at some duces at FT Lewis all things being the same: milage, tires, paint etc which motor should I be looking at White, Hercules or Continental. Is there any way to tell if they are turbo just by the motor, there are no pics of the motors. Some do have pics of the dash with the 1 min...

That is a 1028. I have one. Mine was a comm. truck. The a/c lines run under the truck and then up to hook into the shelter.

Why are the 87's rare? I have a 1028 that is an 87 and just picked up a 1009 that is an 87. Did i just get lucky

FMJ It is the standard hard top its in great condition no scrapes or breaks. Sorry no pics until next weeek
