I'll test it, but wouldn't that effect both groups, not just the forward group?
Testing the Transformer rectifier is direct support maintenance but I can't find it in the -34?
I didn't realize it was a 14 volt alternator.
Mine's been draing the batteries for ahile now. I really need to put a disconnect on the system and add a solargizer to the truck.
What I found weird was that it's only killing the forward two batteries, the others are running 12.39 volts the dead ones are dead at 10.69 volts.
I found the...
I still plan to modify a Volvo VNL760 into a hauler at some point, slightly different that anything mentioned here. But it takes the cake with ammeities and safety.
Anybody know the spread on a M915's frame rails. I'm trying to see if a used B&W turn-over ball will drop in between the frame rails with some custom mounts.
I can't measure mine at the moment, I'm away from the truck.
Thanks
Jeremy
Got my stuff early this afternoon. Looks like he's sleeping of the trip nicely at his Aunt's place somewhere north of Bismarck.
Not sure when he's leaving but he did, mention he was headed to Troy's in SD.
Really appreciate the lift home for my goodies.
One piece trimed per window on an M35. He has a butt load, I'd say it's a little over 2' x 2' per piece.
For others reading this thread, it's way easier to pay a glass guy to cut your laminated glass. Not that it can't be done, but for what they charge, it's worth the money.
8K isn't bad but there are a lot of factors. Mileage, condition, those all play a huge part.
I'd pay 8K for Wreckermans' M927A2 but I wouldn't have paid 8K for my M925.
Seen it (or version there of), thanks for the reminder to build it.
Awesome!
Thinking about this more, would it make sense to make it capable of more than just a single ball? Like say use a 2-1/2" reciever tube. I'm thinking about making mine now...
You modifying the M871? Cause a duece and anything would be a seriously tight fit. Not to mention tall, the deck height on a standard M871 is 55" which leaves you 107" of payload room.
Wish i had got one of the M872a2 last week that had ramps...
The Mk48 has a big trapezoidal bar that inserts into the RBU. I imagine most of the alignment is taken up by that. After that if it needs any more adjustment a big spud wrench would be pretty helpful.
I can't imagine it's any harder than loading an AGM-86/B on the shoulder of a SUU-67/A Pylon.
I considered adding a 2" reciever hitch to the front so I can nose whatever I want. I don't need the capacity as the lugs are already present for the rings or towbar. However in retrospect the heigth pretty much eliminates everything but lunette drawn trailers.
