Saw this at a gas station here in the Great White North the driver says it has a load rateing of 1800lbs so I guess that makes it a 9 Ton??? It is a nice rig I think it is an International truck. It has tool boxes all over it and it is very well equiped with lots of good usable items as its...

In the modern era, Egypt was a Soviet client for a long time, and its arsenals still contain their share of Soviet weaponry. Military assistance relations took a sharp turn for the worse in the early 1970s, and the country has...
I was watching a news program on TV and I am sure I saw an Abrams A1 Tank with the Egyption Army? I know they have the M60 but I was not aware any other country had the Abrams. Any comments? Eddy
I do not know any of the history on my Dukw but I am sure there are some here who can give us some advice and information. Here are a couple of pics of mine. It came from a NY fire dept that was using it for river rescue and was running and floating in May of last yr. They had two and one had a...
Thanks for all the comments. I would love a turbo or more power but I do not have much choice in the truck as this is the one that is here. I think I will pick it up and give it a try and see how it tows the half track. I can then use the M35 to tow the Dukw. I live in a place so flat you can...
Its a left hand drive and in good shape. It is a bit like my 404 but no portal axles and no where near the wheel travel but does have a lot more motor for the towing I want to do. I am just looking for some comments from anyone who has experience with one. Thanks Eddy
Here is a couple of pics of the truck and a link for the UK parts guy.

The parts have to come from the UK but as I said most of my parts have to come from the US anyway so it is not much more time and money for me. The...
I have been thinking of getting a Bobbed Deuce but found a British Bedford MJ and it might work for me. Its about the same size as a Bobbed Deuce and has a 6 cly diesel motor and should work for me. I know parts will be a little harder to get but not impossible and I have to import all my M35 A2...
Thanks guys I orderd from Rex I have got some parts from him before with great results. I do have the TM 802 and a couple of other sources for the pictures. Anyone have a steering wheel? Eddy
Hi does anyone have a source for any DUKW data plates? My Dukw has none at all. Everything has been removed from the dash. I am looking for any plates at all. Thanks Eddy
My 42 Deuce ( CCKW ) came with a crank handle behind the seat I have never used it but it is there. I think a gas motor would be a little easyer to start than my M35 with a crank. I have cranked an old car once and it started but you have to be real careful. Eddy
Eddy here in Regina Sask. I own several MVs and have them all registerd here in Sask. with Vetran plates. I sold the Iltis

Ok I have heard from the transport and my Dukw will be here in about two weeks if I am lucky it will come on my BD the 05th of Dec. Does anyone have any tips or hints about things to watch and look for on this unit. I am not a MV rookie but I am a total novice on this unit. It is not only an old...
