I was messing with mine today first trying the check valve below the glad hand - didnt work still leaks just as DSD277 mentioned - DSD277 is the check valve that caused the problem on your truck is located under the dash?
Thought I would consult the vast knowledge base here.....Heres the problem - when the air brakes are released air leaks from the emergency gladhand in the front of the truck. is this normal for that to be charged with air? If not then what would likely cause this?

Glad to hear it all worked out in the end - the Mk48 sure came in handy - Sounds like you might need another with a fifth wheel/60,000 lb winch :-D.

Once the wheel is split using a couple pry bars/lube you removed the wheel from the rim? I didn't think that was possible by hand. We will have to give it a try for sure. Thanks for the detailed info.

Didn't know where to ask this question but here goes - Have (2) 395/85-20 Goodyear tires mounted on CTIS wheels - Both leak at the point where the air line passes through the split rim. Another member here suggested splitting the rim cleaning and lubing the o-ring with silicone lub and...
