I pulled my tranny because of a leaky rear seal so my "While I'm in there things" was to install a new clutch pack and turn the flywheel since it was all out.
The original spotlight for the M-43 were made by "Guide" but "Unity" looks just the same ( better handle ) and still come up on E-bay now and then ( mostly then ). (pic is Unity in my deuce )

Yes ( as justacitizen said ) its not exhaust gas that gets recirculated, its hot/warm air from the cooling fan via downstream side of the cylinders. The cold setting is for subzero operation

I did drain out last years fuel but have yet to fire her up and run some new fuel through her and check out everything else..
Negative lead gets grounded to the frame and positive lead runs to positive (service ) terminal on the batt. Grommets for the cab floor knockouts can be bought at any home improvement or auto store. I think I just put a chafing hose over mine.
