We've heard of mistakes made during the rebuild process. Expecially the Red River depot (I think that's the one). Do yours have rebuild tags on them?
From looking real hard at my truck. I have no rebuild tags, leading me to belive it's never been...

Check this thread on check valves, it also said 3 valves, I'll check my truck tomarrow and see how many I see. This also has part numbers for that valve.
I think there it's a check valve on the wet tank also, that's the main one that normally gets so crudded up. But I may be wrong. I think all the tanks have that valve on them. You can try cleaning it, I don't know if it'll help or not. Ornery threads I've read about them said best to replace...
I can hear mine just before it kicks off running down the road, same as in a couple other air brake vehicles I drive. Over 100 psi kinda sounds like a rod knock. As soon as it blows off it stops.
Mine seems to kick on around 100 psi at the primary tank.
So with the truck aired up fully, one press to the floor drops the primary to 100 psi and the secondary to 110. Press #2 primary hits 85psi and secondary hits 100psi.
You do hear a rush of air when mashing put it should stop when holding.
It's correct to lose some pressure when you mash the pedal down, then when holding pressure it should stabilize and not lose any more unless pressed harder.
There are check valves at each tank, I searched here and found a Bendix number that my local truck shop ordered for me. Their normal issue is either rust(wet tank) or getting broken on the trail.
Have you put a governer on it yet?
Alright guys, I got over to Bobcat ' and looked at this truck. It starts and runs to well to be having a fuel leak sticking air, in my opinion. It fires right off and then shuts down, no stumbling or missing. I belive it has a weak fuel shut off solinoid.
So is this common at all? Is there a...
Seems to be normal, mine does this also. Usually it isn't fully in high or low, after the jerk I can get it the rest of the way in. Also lube the small silver button on the end of the high/low lever. It can cause issues or so I'm told if it's not popping out like it should. Just a squirt of oil...
