The stock one should be fine, when I replaced mine the wipers worked a lot faster on low and super fast on high. Remember your wiper motor is probably the original motor, so it lasted 20 plus years. I would say it is a pretty strong motor to have lasted that long!

Bad wiper motor, mine did the same thing. TM's say to replace wiper motor if won't return to park.
