1. Look on the outside of the left frame rail just in front of the front tire. You should be able to see it inside the wheel well.
2. Adjust your clutch. It sounds like you are not fully releasing the clutch when you shift. Look in the TM under the "Resources" link above on how to do it.
There is a regulator AND a pressure valve to prevent the air assist from robbing all the air and losing your brakes. I left the regulator completely off and out a piece of brass pipe in it's place.
It is just another money grabbing scam by GL. I have NEVER, EVER been charged extra just to get the paperwork to get the title anywhere except by GL. GSA gave me an SF-97 for a truck I bough for free and had it to me 4 days after I paid.
It's all about hp and weight and gearing. I would say that a 5 ton would pull a 55 ton tank slowly and safely. Take your time and don't get in a hurry and you'll be fine.

I am imagining a solid pole welded to the right front corner of the bed. The pole will have a jointed arm that will allow him to be lifted with a winch up and then swung directly into the cab. It can also be used to load the wheelchair up on the bed. Have a pin in the base pole to prevent it...
