Surprised at number of M35's on ebay without bids...

Too high of an opening bid will prevent bidders. I always have a very low opening bid and have a reserve to encourage bidding, even if it is very low.

    Vinyl Paint-what works

I would get something that would clean the vinyl thoroughly without softening it very much before I painted it. Something like naphtha or lacquer thinner. Do a google search on vinyl dyes.

There is a 12 vdc relay between the ignition switch and the starter solenoid that energizes the solenoid with 24 volts. You can easily bypass it by shorting the battery terminal to your starter to the small solenoid terminal using a screwdriver. If the starter turns over when bypassed, change...

    Grade 8 Bolts

I have been used to being ripped off at the hardware stores for grade 8 bolts but just on a whim, I went to Tractor Supply Company and got grade 8 bolts, nuts and washers for $3.99 per POUND, regardless of the size. So instead of giving a buck or two for EACH bolt, get them by the pound for TSC.

How much to lengthen driveshaft when bobbong deuce?

Other hints when drilling/ grinding out rivets. First, center punch the rivet good and deep. Then drill about 3/4" deep with a 1/4" drill bit. Then use either a 11/32" or 1/2" (depending on rivet size) drill bit to complete the drilling. Get a punch that is mostly destroyed anyway and drive...
