OM99....I was down working on the 250 today and I double checked the data plates. You are correct sir, there is only the the S250G plate on there. The other plates (7 total) are for electronic equipment, that was inside at one time, loading, rebuild, etc..

Yes....On GL's site....Go into 'Locations', then click on 'Pennsylvania' then look for 'Mechanicsburg' (near Carlise on 11), 'Anneville' (Fort Indiantown Gap), and 'Chambersburg' (just off I-81South).
They all move trucks and are nice and close for you, so many you can go preview. The GL folks...

Thank goodness I haven't had to do this much lately, but I use my Boarding Ladder & a rope. With the tailgate down, lean the ladder against the bed. Then lean the tire against the ladder with the dished out center, facing out. The rope needs to be fed thru the rim from the underside of the tire...
Tom, you shouldn't have a problem if you put it on the right trailer.
There's several threads about the different things done to & with 250's. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find plenty of good info and ideas.

Have ya tried talking to any of the companies that made them?
I basically found only a few that seem to have had a hand in them.
Maybe a call to them may shed some light on your question or even a manual or two.
Here's the ones I found...
Only found two pictures of a 280 mounted, but no close ups.
On a few mfg. sites it says it has mechanical stabilizer arms to secure the shelter for transport, but no more.
Here's what I did find, hope it helps....
