    M715 cuts out over 30mph

I don't have any first hand experience with these carbs, but, do they have an accelerator pump? You need that working to give it a shot of fuel to get the engine to up the revs so vacuum can increase and suck more fuel etc. Also, I'm wondering if the mechanical fuel pump has a screwed up...

    Deuce antenna mount

Gimpy, I have mine on the front of my bed on the passenger side because I have a dropside also. I tie mine down to the pass. side lifting shackle but roll down the window a little first if I am going to need to use the passenger door. It clears ok with the window down about 1/2 way if I recall. Need Help in NH with my m38

Bill, I'm no expert on the engines, and you don't say what is happening, but the first thing that would occur to me is a fuel problem. If you left your tank full of fuel that has ethanol in it, you may be experiencing fuel separation symptoms and possible water problems. I might try purging the...

Mep 701a - fired them up today, what next?

Joe, In working on my MEP-002a, I discovered from reading the TM's that the gauge for the battery charging system operates somewhat differently than say the one in a Deuce. Basically, the gauge indicates the state of charge of the batteries, not the output voltage from the charging system. This...

BillF, I have a towbar and can get a set of tow lights so I could haul you behind my Deuce for some of the trip. Also, if we can get Patch to bring his M37, we all may just go 45 or so. BC

Dash indicator light for convoy lights

WWIILBird, "Can someone tell me what the story is on the two indicator lights on the instrument panel with the metal caps?" Those already have light bulbs in them that light the guages through little plastic windows in the edges of them. The caps are to blank out the light from view in the cab...

Air leak from tank near strap

Yes, replace both and while you are at it, check and clean the check valve and also your pressure relief valve. When you have everything back together test your check valve. BC

    Voltage Driving Me NUTS!

My wild guess without seeing a wiring diagram is that the 12 and 24 volt grounds being tied together, even though disconnected from the frame with the kill switches, is creating a complete 12 volt circuit somehow in the 24 volt side of the wiring. My first move would be to disconnect the 12 volt...

help wiht M35A2 fuel system problems

greenjeepster, There is a lot one can do to the fuel system without the fear of getting hurt. You can bleed it all the way through to the IP under very managable pressures. You can bleed it after that also, just have to be careful. Don't scare the poor Dude off. Just give him advice on how to do...
