Thanks all, Here is the scoop. My buddy and I have a chance to pick up an M715 for $100 over what the junkyard has into it which was scrap price. Has complete winch setup, good tailgate, good bed, good windshield frame with glass, seat frames, wiper motors, instrument panel w/gauges, good hood...

M35A1 LIVES, finally. vid link to the event

Scooter, It's been a long time coming but I'm glad you got her running. We knew she would from our gas soaked rag-in -the-air-intake tries when she lit right off but would not stay running. Does the hydraulic pump for the plow work OK also? Still have a couple of fenders for the 108 in my yard...

    no power

I agree with Flyingvan911. That connection can look fine but oxidation/corrosion can occur between the cable end, cut washers, nut, bolt etc. and can give you poor contact. By cleaning it you will have eliminated one possible trouble spot. You can then proceed to test on the positive side to...

    Gas cap gasket

My friend has an M38 and an M151 and says that splash back from a full tank of gas with ethanol has turned the old gaskets to mush. Anyone know of a source for an upgraded gasket that is ethanol proof? A cork one would work but might dry out rapidly due to infrequent use possibly? Thanks, BC

    flame heater help

I used my flame heater this past weekend. Have used it 6 winters now without one malfunction. Put a new plug in when I got the truck and has worked great ever since. When I installed my boost gauge I installed a Cranetruck flame heater flame detector at the same time and that works great also. BC

    Multifuel eng oil pan

Also, I understand that if you jack the frame up so the front suspension hangs as much as possible it makes it easier to get the pan out. Haven't tried it myself but it sounds reasonable. BC

Home heating oil available for Deuce fuel

Multifuel owners, I have a contact in Cape May that would like to give away approx. 100-125 gallons of said home heating oil. You need to have a safe way to transfer from his tank to your containers. You may also need it for your upcoming heating season, but it never gets cold there does it:)...

How to remove soft top M35A3?

Undo the rest of the roof, flip it over onto the hood and then slide it out on the drivers side. There is a rigid rod sewn in and it slides in a channel. BC
