M-715 owners, What is the fair market price for a complete winch setup for an M715. Lever, PTO, PTO shaft, winch etc. in useable or easily repairable condition. Thanks much, BC

Scooter, It's been a long time coming but I'm glad you got her running. We knew she would from our gas soaked rag-in -the-air-intake tries when she lit right off but would not stay running. Does the hydraulic pump for the plow work OK also? Still have a couple of fenders for the 108 in my yard...

I agree with Flyingvan911. That connection can look fine but oxidation/corrosion can occur between the cable end, cut washers, nut, bolt etc. and can give you poor contact. By cleaning it you will have eliminated one possible trouble spot. You can then proceed to test on the positive side to...

My friend has an M38 and an M151 and says that splash back from a full tank of gas with ethanol has turned the old gaskets to mush. Anyone know of a source for an upgraded gasket that is ethanol proof? A cork one would work but might dry out rapidly due to infrequent use possibly? Thanks, BC

I used my flame heater this past weekend. Have used it 6 winters now without one malfunction. Put a new plug in when I got the truck and has worked great ever since. When I installed my boost gauge I installed a Cranetruck flame heater flame detector at the same time and that works great also. BC

Also, I understand that if you jack the frame up so the front suspension hangs as much as possible it makes it easier to get the pan out. Haven't tried it myself but it sounds reasonable. BC
