Hey, I forgot to ask what the voltage is on the truck. 6 volts lights are more plentiful and less expensive but I believe communications vehicles are 12 volt. I know my WC51 is.

I know the communications trucks had the "S" designation. My WC had that. It is usually at the end of the number proceeded by a dash. So I suggest....

Installed the wood top sections on the WC this morning. Now to paint the 4 cargo box compartment lids and hardware. Also cut and painted the metal access plate for the fuel gauge sender. Off to Austin now for the weekend to celebrate Mother's day. I could not afford a cardboard cutout like...
I would go with the horse that brung you!!! I could easily have been replaced for a variety of reasons and unless you find the maintenance records, you will never know.
Dave, Two questions: If two hole above the lower grill were used for a grill support, where would the have attached inside the engine compartment? Second, was that accelerator pedal bent like that sort of V shape?
