When I took mine apart, it had a piece of masking tape over the gap....I removed the old crusty tape and installed new. should last another 20 years......[thumbzup]

Pulled dash a part again and installed this............Next up, door panels and mirrors.

Sweet!!!! I didnt go that far with mine. Guess I should have seeing as it was all torn down....Oh well, fuel gauge still doenst work. I'm just glad that everything else works and looks dang near brand new.[thumbzup]

I bent the clips up with a small screwdriver.....It'll take a little pulling to get it over the clips. It's kind of a pain, but it can be done.

Installed dash pad cover, installed dash cluster. All lights work and I can see my speed-o now. Cleaned up and installed dash bezel. Installed new resistor on voltmeter...and it works!! Fixed several light related problems with the cluster re-work. Kudos to the dash cluster de-code pics!!! Not...

Both of the 09's I have owned had the same kind of tailgate damage. A guy at my apt.complex had a 91 civy Blazer that had the same dents as well..... What did they do to your dash??? Looks like they used seat cover material....Engine compatment looks really clean. Welcome to the best MV...

Removed dash. Removed, cleaned and replaced light bulbs in instrument cluster. Installed dash cover. AWP for dash related parts before it goes back in.....

R&R'd, adjusted back up light switch. Removed dash bezel.....Cluster comes out tomorrow.

Had new windshield installed. Changed all exterior lights and lenses. Installed Smitty built tactical seat covers.

My fuel gauge has been pegged out since I bought it. My first 1009 would show full for a while then drop to half. I'm thinking my current problem is the sending unit.....who knows??!?!?! I too will be pulling the cluster soon. Maybe next week...

:driver:Update..... Overhauled Gen2 from my last oh-nine installed, new belt and we're off and running. I went ahead and installed the noise filter on the new Gen. Not that I'm gonna be running radios or anything like that. Thanks to all for the welcome homes and for all great info that...
