Is it by chance leaking out of the bottom of the exhaust manifold at those ports? Mine is, I believe it to be due to leaking valve stem seals. I removed exhaust and intake manifolds cleaned it all up and replaced all gaskets due to a broken manifold at a exhaust port got it looking nice, and...
Bear with me apparently the enter key has stopped working with this site only?? A is J pipe .....B is routed to air tanks..... C is routed to the glad hand.....D is the vent, headed to the slobber tube...... Truck stops fine, no issues, just trying to do some PM that I'm sure hasn't been...
I was going to oil my airpack today during lunch and was comparing your of the lines with mine, and where they match up to. Mine is a short style airpack and B in your pic goes to the air tanks on my truck. Ran out of time later I'll track down the rest. But has anyone else seen this?
Got guages hooked up and retested with original mushroom cap. Didn't see any real hint of vacumm and I did get it videoed, but it got too late to read the guage during the test with the new scoop on even with the video camera and a flashlight. Also had to pick up a exaust clamp to secure the...
Forgot to tell ya'll I talked with John's buddy David 2 weeks ago for a bit (He worked with him). Talked about trucks, him, and other stuff. Good guys the both of them
+1 to this mine has a NC assigned 17 digit vin# on the door jamb. The inspecting DMV officer would have assigned it and installed the sticker. It's also what mine is titled with.
Also there's another thread in the Alt. fuels section about O ring capabilities that Beyond Biodiesil did. I belive it said the original o rings wouldn't handle over 25% gas for long..... You may want to read it.
Updated pics of the repaint after the radiator got put back in it. The last coat goes on the grill tonight so it'll be up and running this week end! A AFTER and BEFORE, Check out my new scoop too! Also got my less than $10 horn upgrade installed. I got the horn at my folk's auction for 2 bucks...
Nothing a grinder can't fix![thumbzup] The one may not be as pretty as the other but it's definately a good weld other wise. Clean it up with the grinder and throw some paint on it and you'll never be able to see it! Lookin good though!
Your turn signal lights are on upside down....... I know...
My vacuum guage only goes negitive pressure (hand pump with guage), thus why I was looking into using A/C guages. The low side goes positive and negitive. I plan on eventually mounting it higher like a snorkle kit but $$$ is preventing it right now, then it'll get lots of nice clean air...
Didn't Repo buy one too? Haven't heard from him lately... I need to post some pics of my scoop after paint. It took to paint like a nun to church!! Looks great!
Yeah some one earlier made that point, but I'm fixing to find out for sure, call me hard headed. After talking with my father in-law about trying to measure the possibility of vacuum or pressure in the air box we came up with a no cost solution. He has a set of R22 a/c guages that he can adapt...
