Question for bobbed deuce owners using the original box?

Here is mine. I used a sawzall and cutting wheel and welded with a MIG. Much easier than I thought. Just purchased a high end metal blade for the saw.

    M series cup holder

I just use a plastic "sippy" cup so it can't spill. If it falls over it just rolls around the cab but I have to wait until it rolls back to get another drink. rofl

Question for bobbed deuce owners using the original box?

I cut 36" off the rear of my bed just before the post with the tailgate chains on it. Used a sawsall and a cutting wheel with not problem. Welded the tail piece back on and the bed installed using the original mounts with no problem.

    Removing Master Cylinder

    welder purchase questions

I am in the same boat as Gimp. I got a base Lincoln MIG which worked well on patch panels of a restoration I was doing but now that I have improved my welding skills I realize I should have gotten a bigger unit to handle the ranch projects I have. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks Gimp. Do you slide the slides sections in first and then try to pry the lower section in last?

    Coming Attraction - project #6 M43 build

I really wish you would finish the M38's first. I have invested a lot of time reading each and every post of the M38's and I have been left high and dry. Sort of like watching the Ten Commandments and having to stop at the 7th commandment.:lol::lol:
