Has anyone ever seen one of these? Part Number is: 57K0257. I found it in the TM 9-2320-361-24P in the repair parts and special tools list. It looks as though it is canvas and not a tinted plastic. Curiousity got me.
Why don't we just not turn them on? Mine work, I even check them when I do a walk-around, but I don't use them. Might be nice to have them work for the Zombie Apocalypse. I'm just sayin'.
A 30 KW genset is alot of generator for home back-up. Sounds as though you have the ventilation concern covered. Run some 120 VAC out there for a light and utility outlet. Being from Louisiana, you probably won't need a block heater. :)
Counties get these trucks for free, and sometimes don't follow through with plans for them. My first Deuce was purchased from a county that had ideas for it that never materialized.
