Plan to buy a 3D printer

I've seen some amazing things in the 3d metal printing arena. Can't imagine a machine with those capabilities would be obsolete any time soon. Sure improved models will undoubtedly come along but even whats available now can create some extremely impressive products that would be valuable well...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Theres a 3 inch body lift on this truck that really helped with access. Everything is in great shape and all bushings and ball joints are new. Wasn't planning on pulling the arm but just couldn't bust the bottom rear bolts without an impact. With the truck jacked up and another jack under the...

Added some shims to adjust the camber on a rear wheel that wasn't quite right. A little bit more work than anticipated but not too hard.

I used airsoft pellets in a couple sets of tires on a truck with 37s. They worked well through the lives of both sets.

Mine has a Duramax conversion and it has really impressed me as to how much power and how well it handles. Even with all the weight, it feels like I'm driving a race truck. Really fun to drive.

Made this small electric panel for the back. It has 110v power for my grinders and quick connects wired to the welding power. I really like the look of solid rivets and hope to find more places to use them on the truck.

Bent this 2 inch sch 40 pipe to start building off of. Connected with 1 1/2" tubing. I'm trying to make this so the things that attach to the tubing are bolt on so some day I can ditch the work gear and retool for fun. Along the bottom tubes are 2" x 1/8" flat bar so that I can drill holes for...
