Looked at early and late manual...early says: 200 amp V belt and 100 and 200 amp Early surp uses little bracket. Late manual says use long bracket and does not ref. little bracket for same Early surp system.

Any truck with a serp system supposed to have the Long to the block bracket...the short one should only be on a 60 amp truck.

This is somewhat common on the start box; Burnt parts.....and water damage

I see you have a Nartron yellow label box...Remove it, open it up and see if anything is burnt inside.

........................ I tested sensors pin 3 & 6 with meter on Auto:.... 7 ea new and used KDS yellow band CR-2696A sensors = 12.5K ohm ...then 5 ea. Nartron 12480779-2 = 12.7 k ohms... then 4 ea.Nartron 12338772 = 7.0 to 13.5 Meg ohm......I had 1 ea. used Nartron 12469158-2 which did not...

I looked up NSN's...the longer one appears to be for 30-80 mhz....so I'll send it with the short one.

Sold first one...I may have another.

The 2 different 1 pc element I have are: NSN 5985-01-288-9873...[ shorter one ] and the longer 1 pc element is a : NSN 5985-01-017-0784

1165a1 has radiator coolant also the transfercase is cooled the same ....There is a small heat exchanger inside cover....so you should not be getting radiator coolant when you open the fill, or drain.....Might have internal leak.

. That wide overlay roof comes off, and there is a standard aluminum roof under that,,,,that one in the pic shows an adapter ring for a 1114 / mrap bearing which is easier to find....but I bet that 36 hole ring adapter will be removed.
