We were blessed to have a summer (and some weekends) place on Lake Silkworth (west of Nanticoke/Wilkes-Barre).

I was not as fortunate to have seen either of them in person.
However, my father preferred that my toys and childhood experiences be more learning focused than idle time-killers. So, about the time of the tragic loss of the one XB-70 (I was about 8 or 9 years old) he bought an XB-70 model...
The only surviving XB-70 Valkyrie Mach 3+ Bomber was recently moved from its hangar at the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB.
