I would strongly suggest that you go to a place like rubber duck or Mod Mafia and purchase a solid aluminum coolant overflow fluid container. Your turbo is very close to that plastic coolant container. I might also wrap the turbo in some type of woven titanium to protect engine, wires, and...

Curved needle nose pliers is outstanding. Lowes/Home Despot/Harbor Freight/Ama$on…. Readily available and oh so useful. Also removes large retaining rings and those little salmon bones that always remain in the filet despite telling the fish mongers to remove them.

This happened on my rig two years ago. My rig has a clean and intact fuel intake sock. For that reason, I just left it alone.

Depends on the tools you’re using. Plasma cutter - NO Circular saw - Carefully without plunging more than 1/4” Jig saw - NO IMHO - Use a plunge block on a drill and drill the corners. Then carefully and superficially use your circular saw/angle grinder. Sparks can cause issues.
