G'day everyone,..... Ok,.. so I have been having some fun with my Deuce since I got it but hey,... who wouldn't right? Ever since I have had it I have not been able to undo the cap on the battery jumper port. I have soaked it in penetrating oil etc but cannot get it undone. I do not want...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

G'day everyone,..... Well I can see how you can remove them if you can get behind them to give them a 'tap' to drive them out,.... But if they are flush into a solid face you cant get behind,...? I did use 'vise-grips' on a couple but that was once they had already been backed out till...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

G'day everyone,.... Interesting twist,... When I took a close look at the back of the top plate I see the what I thought were rivets have a thread! So if they twist into the plate then I should be able to drive them back out,....? So I took my small hammer and gave one a technical tap on...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

G'day everyone,.... Today I took the top plate off my Deuce as I am going to replace the data plates on it. The bolts came out more easily than I thought they would. The only thing I am thinking now is,.... the rivets that are on the top plate now have rounded heads and I want the same...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

G'day everyone,..... Last week I got a 1 gallon bottle of DOT 5 brake fluid for my Deuce, cheaper ordering it from the US than getting it here,... I pay $65.00 for a 600ml bottle here. I can get a gallon bottle for $100.00 AUD from the US. Oh, and I got a couple of NBC stickers for the air...

    electric winch on deuce

G'day everyone,.... I would have thought you already would have the cable to extend you winch cable, I would think its lighter than chain? Oh and have you tried how long your electric winch will run on just the batterys alone under load? Aussie.

    electric winch on deuce

G'day everyone,..... The major down side with an electric winch is that with no engine running to keep the batts charged or more accurately the alternator supplying the power you only have the batts capacity to run the winch till the batts go flat. If you do have the engine running then for...

    electric winch on deuce

G'day everyone,.... That looks bulky compared to the PTO winch. The only down side to a PTO is if your engine isn't running (or broken) you have no winch. I do think though that an electric winch would be good for the rear of a Deuce. A little more compact so mounting should be easier and...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

G'day everyone,..... Ok,.. Its official, I'm stumped,.... Got the lower hose off at the radiator but for the life of me I can't get to the upper clamp at the water pump. I resigned myself to having to remove the generator to get to it but the bolt at the front bottom I can't get to because...
