Thank you goldneagle! That is a big compliment coming from a master fabricator like yourself!
I did notice, that for the use in military trucks, the Bostrom air ride seat bases work great because they have an additional front to back movement, that cuts down on a lot of the back rest jolts...
Air Ride Seats for the FEMTT!
So after a recent 220 mile round trip to Santa Fe and back in the FEMTT, I decided to go ahead and do the air ride seat conversion, that I had planed on for some time.
The biggest hurdle I faced, was that the Bostrom 915T seat bases did not in any way fit in to...
I got the dump pretty much wrapped up. Just have to hook up a few clearance lights. The flat bed and the 1200 gallon tank modules are currently in the works.
Next will be the fifth wheel module......and then....my favored: The wrecker / recovery module!!!

I'm I Finally a REDNECK? :)
Well, I had a busy weekend and got a lot of stuff done on the FEMTT modules!
I'm working on three different modules right now:
-On the 'dump bed module': I cut the damaged front wall out and built a new upper section (head ache rack), that matches the height and...
So just to be clear: It was really just the HYDRAULIC SYSTEM of the FEMTT, that I THOUGHT was done, NOT THE WHOLE FEMTT PROJECT!!!!
But unfortunately you are right anyway.....I ALREADY FOUND ANOTHER HOSE THAT IS NEEDED AND I FORGOT TO RUN....
Well, I guess that is what I get for making silly...
I feel that it would truly be a shame to bob such a perfectly beautiful beast of a truck!!!!!!
But then...... I'm probably a little prejudice.....since this is my all time favored truck!.....well factory stock truck that is..... lol

Today I'm happy to report, that I finally got all the hydraulic systems on the FEMTT side buttoned up!
I ran the last two missing hoses (1" hydraulic hoses SUCK, if you try to fish them trough a bunch of tight spaces by yourself....results in lots of "NAVY...
