Just got back from my roadtest. Turned up the fuel a turn and a half and the idle to 800. Alot more bottom end and throttle response than before. By the way, I saw no loss in power going from a D turbo to a C turbo. Also the truck holds highway speeds better and really pulls on the hills at 55...
Thats it Bjorn. Thanks. Didn't have time to drill for the pyrometer when I had the turbo off. Had to get the truck back running. We have 2 trucks up stuck here since last weekend and another deuce last night. I will pull the turbo and drill when I can.
Turbo exchange all most complete. Both turbos were removed and shipped to each other. I got mine wed and installed it today. Runs great and got the whistle I wanted. Took it for a test drive and seems to have a little more bottom end power.

I pulled my turbo off today its in nice shape. Its a D turbo. Was going to trade for a C turbo, but we found out his needs bearings when he got it off. Does anyone on hear have a good C whistler turbo for sale? Thanks Mark
I am trading turbos with another member. I pulled mine off this morn. Not a bad job. Took about an hour and a half taking my time. Gasket sets were 9.00 + shipping. I took some pics.
I noticed the other day my turnsignals stopped working. Ok, so I order a new flasher from saturn. When I started to swap it, I noticed the wiring harness was rubbing on the body and had cut through one of the wires. I repaired the wire but it must have ruined my old flasher. Glad I found that...
Hello Rocco. I had the same problem a few months ago. It was the airpack. I bought a new one, but you can also clean and rebuild yours cheaper. Hope this helps.
