What color is the above photo, 383 green? Couple of technical questions, as I am preparing to do a complete frame off restoration of a '68 M35A2 which is currently in 3 color camo.
1) Was going to try to keep it in a '68 paint scheme but not real fond of the 24087 color. I really like the...
FYI for anyone interested in attending. The Manheim Baltimore Washington Auto Exchange located at 7120 Dorsey Run Road, Elkridge Maryland is hosting a Tribute to Heroes car show in conjunction with the Howard County Police Retired Officer's Association on Sunday August 4th 2019. All vehicle...
Apparently not around where I live. I went to two, they don't cut glass anymore, they only order glass for specific cars they are replacing it for and installing it.
Wow, that's a lot of work. Nice job! I was looking at potentially replacing the glass on my windows as the frames are still in pretty decent shape. However I could not find anyone that carried or would make a flat glass windshield panel. How much did the glass cost to have made? Thanks for...
So I emailed BEHR Tech Support to get some feedback on the paint properties, in particular how the primer or paint would adhere to rusty surfaces, how it would hold up in the elements, specifically what they would recommend for bare steel, vs. rust coated steel, vs overother paints, if oil based...
Has anyone tried using the BEHR Premium Plus Interior/Exterior Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer as the primer and then used the BEHR flat exterior paint of the color of their choosing on their MV's? If so recommended as the primer over existing metal and holds up well? Any different then using...
So after reading through this extremely informative thread in its entirety, which was no quick task, I have decided to go the Behr paint route. Sounds like several have had good luck without priming anything and spraying Behr paint direct with a Wagner electric power sprayer or other similar...
There are a number of vendors, Eriks Military Supply, C&C Trucking, Eastern Surplus are just a few. You can also check or ask on the classifieds section of the forum.
Welcome to the hobby! We used to meet on the second Saturday of every month, however the dates got away from us lately and we haven't met in a while. Time seems to fly by and life seems to have gotten busier instead of slowing down. Keep monitoring here for a breakfast in Eldersburg new post...
Looking for a hard top and a complete windshield (exterior and interior frame and glass - both sides). If anyone has these and are bringing them to Aberdeen please PM me. Thanks.
Wow time flys! Been December since we all got together. Now that the weather is getting warmer its getting time to get the trucks rolling again. Anyone interested in getting together again for an MV gathering we will be meeting at the Bob Evans in Eldersburg this Saturday at 10:00 am. Hope...
This is awful, I can't even make my own planned event. Last night while just sitting there it hits me and I wind up running to the bathroom every 3 minutes. Wake up this morning with headache, chills, sore throat, runny nose. 2017 is not starting off very well! I'll be in bed all day.
Well they are predicting pretty bad weather tomorrow morning starting at 0400 hrs with ice. If it's nasty, I'm gonna bail out. We shall see what tomorrow brings.
Mine does this as well. I can only feel it/see it when I let off the gas. It only moves slightly to the rear as you depress/let off the gas. Never had any issues with it, but it is interesting.
