I'm with you on this one. It's a real pain to have to click on each link just to see the picture. Then I have to close the tab and remember what was the last link I clicked on -so I don't open the same picture again.
Ye I would add another axle to make sure the trailer can handle the weight. Liability wise it would not look good on you if it failed due to overweight. As far as the old wheel wells, you can always fill them in so they don't stand out. A little paint over the path and it will blend right in.
I think the M35 uses a 20" not a 22". The 5 ton uses the same spline pattern and the wheel is 18" not 20". CSM Davis got the one I recommended (same as mine) I used the same steering wheel on 2 M923 trucks. Love them! I got mine from C & C for under $150 each.
How did you determine that the driver of the car did not have insurance? I know in NJ and Louisiana you have to show proof of insurance coverage in order to get tags. (register the vehicle)
I would look at any info/ rumored by any vendor with skepticism. Could be a scare tactic or purpose misleading. "Buy the HMMWV from us because you won't get title from GP..."
Only reason I can think of is: What if you decide to part out the truck instead of registering it. They loose the sales tax. You would normally not do that with a civi vehicle bought new.
I has similar issues with GL taxing me for vehicles I purchased from Camp Shelby in MS. When I tried to register the vehicles in LA they were taxing me again! I was told by LA DMV that if I could prove I paid tax in MS they would refund me the amount paid in MS since they have a reciprocating...
That would be a lot of weight to swing around! Could kill someone.... Maybe I just can't picture the setup.... i do have two MRAP rims. Make me an offer...
Where you gonna park the trucks. Here in Louisiana the parking spot dimensions are not regulated. Some places you can barely fit a full size car!
Tim's choice in the end. It's his party.
