My IP has a minor leak through the throttle linkage seal so I would get some air in the line when it sat a few days. I do not want to spend the money to have it fixed since it is minor. Besides there is nothing wrong with redundancy. It was less than $20 for the electric fuel pump from NAPA.
I would replace the lift pump (mechanical fuel pump) and possibly add an inline electric fuel pump. I did that on my M1008. Now when I turn the key on and WAIT for the WAIT light to go out, the electric fuel pump is circulating fuel through the system. My truck starts and runs great since the...
I would recommend you replace all the vacuum lines on that CUCV. Also replace the modulator on the tranny. It cost me less than $20 for all the parts and the truck shifts flawlessly.
It depends on the physical size of the alternator. There is a limit on size when attached to the NHC250 due to the location of the oil cooler. I was going to install a 400 AMP dual voltage alternator on one of my 5 ton trucks, but there was not enough room on that side due to the location of...
If you are not planning to install A/C on your truck you can purchase the A/C compressor bracket and use it for the alternator. It goes under the power steering pump. It cost me $230 which came with all the bolts and even the proper fan belts.
Could be the DNS server for your internet provider was down. Without a DNS server your browser cannot locate any web site unless you know the actual DNS address.
I had an issue with Charter last night when I lost internet access but was still issued my DNS address from the server.
Did you get a receipt for the loading charges? I would contact jade about getting a refund for the loading expenses. GP should force the tow company to refund your fees.
I had a similar situation with not being notified that the EUC cleared. I just happened to check the status on their web...
Made some real progress today. With the help of my neighbor i was able to mount the generator on the trailer and secure it. The generator is sitting on (6) 4" rubber discs to dampen vibration.
We started by bolting the 3/8" x 3" flat bars to the trailer with (6) 1/2" bolts. (3) on each side...
Today I did the oil change and oil filter upgrade. I tried to drain the oil but was getting a slow trickle. I even had the dip stick removed! It was in the upper 70's today so the oil was not cold. I used a farm jack to lift the other side of the generator and inserted a 4" block under that...
I didn't get much done lately due to rainy weather. Today I decided to tackle the fuel filter spin on upgrade on the generator set. I used: (2) Wix 24770 & Napa 4770 Filter Base, Wix 33352 & Napa 3352 Fuel Filter, Wix 33405 & Napa 3405 Fuel Filter. I also needed (4) 1/2" to 1/4" reducers...
All my trucks are M939A0 and on all of them the fans spin some with the engine running. That is 4 out of 4. I have seen plenty of other trucks running and the fan blades were turning on all of them. Yes it does sound like all **** braking loose when the fan clutch activates under load.
