I also used the Anco 31-13 blades.

I didn't have to use the little nut that came with the OE arms, The new ones are splined to go on the shafts. They fit good with a bit of gentle persuasion. Had them on for 3+ years and they haven't fallen off.

I used the 41-01 wiper arms.

I use Lucas oil treatment in my engine. I think it makes the oil a lot slipperier. I know it's not a technical term. Haven't had any problems running it.

Is that soft line steel reinforced? Like a hydraulic line?

Also if you have a nearby truck stop that has a repair shop, they may also be set up with the proper equipment.

Try to find a tire shop that does agriculteral tires (tractor tires). They're usually set up for the split rim/lock ring set up. At least the shops by me are. They deal with all the local farmers equipment.

This is where I installed mine. On the exhaust manifold just above the turbo. I chose to run a dual set up.

The bed should be easy to fix. If you have a torch, welder and some sheet steel handy.

What is the displacement and horsepower on that Detroit diesel?

I had a similar problem with mine. Turned out to be the gauge. But the gauge is where I started.
