Those of us in Efland have heard of it. We shot parts of an independent film there. The city was so helpful and accommodating. It was great.

    LMTV M1078 - Weight Capacities

Here is how I look at it. You can flat tow a LMTV with ANOTHER LMTV. If its loaded that would be over 20k lbs being towed AND I am 100% certain that a LMTV is harder to tow than a trailer of equal weight.

    MEP-831A

OK. If you can hold the speed control by hand and keep it running it eliminates a lot of possible problems. Your problem of it running OK for a while then going crazy is one I've run into a number of times on these sets. Each time it was the speed control module behind the control panel flaking...

    MEP-831A

Will it immediately restart and run OK? Will it continue to run if you hold the speed control servo away from its magnet?

Alternative to D51R Optima on MEP-802A

I bought 2 regular batteries for less than the cost of one Optima. Keep a battery tender on them and they will last for a long time.

Providing Magna Sine Inverter with MEP power

I'm considering those for my final setup when my house on the lake property is built. Going with 50kw/hr of storage and a 14kw solar array.

Providing Magna Sine Inverter with MEP power

+1 on going 48v. Everything works better with higher battery bank voltages. The batteries I'm using are from 3 Chevy Volt cars. Chemistry is NMC (Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt). They have been modified to give 48v nominal pack. Its a 14s setup and I charge to about 4v per cell which is about 56v. The...

Providing Magna Sine Inverter with MEP power

I have Schneider equipment. My system is very similar to what you are proposing. It works great for running overnight. I can report that the MEP831, MEP802, and MEP803 are all inverter friendly. You shouldn't have any issues with power quality from your generator. The one caveat is the MEP831...
