Went to Hogwaller mud pit and got a little muddy. It did real well till I found the four foot deep stuff. Glad they have a big loader there to pull me out. Now a couple of hours getting it washed but had fun.
If you do have CV / ball and claw myself I would not fret it a bit and run them. The only thing I might see is if your boots let lots of dirt into them it would require going in and cleaning / repacking. Keep you boots in good shape and have fun.
Looks like they pulled the shaft at the slip joint and left the end yoke in place and the propeller shaft was balanced. What I found on mine was the were numbers stamped on both ends of the yokes. I do not know if you are going to pull that yoke off but if you are going to just leave the one...
No worries Mullaney. Sometimes you get lucky and the caps are not seized and they could be hammered out. The tool just makes easy work of it. Yes it does cost a lot if you buy the tiger brand and there are cheaper brands but I do not know the quality. Also for a one time use most will not want...
Tiger # 10105 class 1/2 trucks. Tiger 10104 class 3/5 and 10102 class 7/8. Oil the threads when using. Yea cost is high on 10102 but cheaper than a drive line shop to do the work. Yea hammer might work in some cases but get a seized one and you will be glad to have the tool. I clean yoke eyes...
Yea I had a regular Fl. tag on a MV a long time ago but I also did not tell them it was military. Just got insurance through State Farm not a collectors insurance policy, went to DMV asked for a weighted tag and got it. I tell you what even with my former military tag I will drive my truck when...
Torque wrenches carry a heavy price and if your just doing lug nuts then might not be the best choice. With the Milwaukee M18 fuel 3/4 drive set on power level 4 puts the lug nuts on just about close to what we are looking for. When I tried mine on power setting 4 it was 475 to 485 foot pounds...
Yea mine comes on if the temps get high enough when I am off road. Never heard it when on highway. If I remember if you disconnect the wire from the sending unit on pipe and use the fording switch the rear cooler fan should come on. Thought cant' remember if you were running and the engine fan...
What type of tag did you get a couple of years ago? Blue antique, former military or regular Fl. plates. As I said in the other thread I had no problem last month getting the former military tag on the 1088 but it has restrictions. I believe what we are looking at now in Fl. is the only tag we...
When all is correct and the plunger sleeve is floating free on the plunger like it should it will be sitting on the bottom or 6 o'clock. If you have assembled the fuel control unit correctly then try this. When you go to install the fuel control assembly the arm of the assembly should be close...
The governor will not go to wide open throttle ( WOT ) just because you pulled the shut down out to fast. Wide open throttle is caused by a sticking fuel control unit assembly. Happens when operators do not leave the shut down cable pulled out after they leave the truck. Then when they go to...
