Im usually at 6-800F going down the road, but I dont have perfectly flat roads and more often than not, they are gravel, dirt, and pot holes with their own zip codes. But Hey, it keeps the gimmedats away.
I deleted mine like the video you posted. I found that a metric oil drain plug from a car (subaru?) fit . I was thinking about putting a glow plug in its place instead of a plug, similar to the Ford Power stroke diesel air intake heater, but haven't been able to find a 24vdc one without "bending...
everything on my truck that holds oil leaks. Engine, transmission, transfer case, differentials....all seal leaks. The FP also weeps a little diesel under it too. Not bad, but I don't have to worry about rust under it. I run the truck with a load in it on fire roads, so it works pretty hard. It...
the one turbo is flipped. air side is at the rear, the one in this pic has the air side in the front. 1989-91 cummins 5.9 were not all intercooled. Also follow the air intake manifold to the turbo, it would be going to the front of the engine if it was intercooled, as the intercooler would be...

theres a lot of copper there. I just purchased a small 50' roll of 10-3 romex......it was 85$. Radiators have to be sized to engine Liters, and physical size/fittings, so Big engines need more copper.
If coolant isn't getting into the air side of the intake, I'd clean it up and JB weld it. Maybe someone who has a spare one can look in it and comment.
