Poulsbo has a little parade for Veteran's Day. Last year I carried the WWII vets who were the Grand Marshalls as the lead vehicle (behind PFB's giant ladder truck). This year I was scheduled to do the same but they told me a few days ago the vets are getting to an age now where ingress and...
Not crazy about sliding the transmission back - out in the driveway now that the rainy season is here. I was prepping it to sell when the flex plate started clattering. It figures...
Weird that he's not offering pick up, only shipping.
I'd be very cautious. If you know anyone in the area, have them go look at them before you send any money. There's a lot of scammers on FB.
Installed the two new batteries and the cable set I've had laying around for three years or so. Truck fired right up, but it sounds like absolute crap. Banging noise that went away when getting the RPM above idle. Tightened the belts but it didn't help. The longer I had it running the worse...
A couple more from the DRMO lot:
Whatever you do, don't try to open that door!
This is the third type of LED turn signal that I've seen here. There was only one of these,
Tank is sitting pretty with about 70 gallons so far.

Mine (soft top and doors) leaks during the rain, but nothing in...
When the M1009 was menacing the mean streets of Kitsap County, it was the loudest and brightest thing out there. The Whelen with two 100 watt air-horn outputs was distressingly loud, and the two 450 watt aircraft landing lights turned night into day, even turned off the streetlights.
With...
Well the tank is in place and I ran the generator off the 1 gallon or so in it.
It'll leak-check all night to make sure all the fittings are sealed up well.
It only took about two dozen trips to home depot to round up all the small parts.
I'd love to soften the ride on my M1165, but trying to read multiple threads with conflicting information is frustrating.
Do the Armada springs work on an M1165?
What year armada springs, or better yet, what part number
Do I need to cut them if I don't want to lift the truck?
My truck sits high...
