Air brake components are all hd truck stuff mostly haldex. Easy to find @ truck pro, napa etc.
I would not bother with a used takeoff as it is likely just as old as what you took off.

If looking for aftermarket try Autometer 2690. They are black bezel, light socket included, mechanical to 80mph, trip meter, and no metric clutter. Also can be found cheaper

Mine came with dex 3 already converted by the military. I do not carry any weight and occasionally moderate tow. Very satisfied with my shifting and smooth...
not sure on what to advise as I have not had your issue. Others might chime in but maybe take off and bring to an old school radiator shop to make sure there is no blockage or internal damage?

Is your cooler leaking? These trucks already come with a stout cooler/heat exchanger. There is also a spin on t-filter easy to change under the hood in addition to the one in the pan.
Years ago when I had replaced the shock and some of the nylon link bushings I had found some loose but not as bad as your situation. I would recommend you replace the nuts and install grade c or 8 prevailing locking torque nuts.

I was thinking plain ole m998 . Mine rides very comfortable but we do not have rocks or hills for that matter in the southern part of the banana republic for me to get crazy with.
I have a winch on the front and a Tire carrier in the back and i do I feel some of the weight is leveled out.
