It's getting closer, just about 6 weeks away. For anyone who's coming but wants to camp out, I have 20 acres just two minutes from the show site that would be open for anyone who would like to primitive camp. It has a nice open area with easy acess for larger vehicles. Plus maybe we could all...
Anyone know the bridgeweight class of the 105 trailers? I would like to add it to the 105 that my M51 shelter is mounted to. Also what would be the combined for the front of the deuce when I have the trailer on?
Not yet, the magneto was missing from the motor so I ordered a new one from Saturn Surplus along with new plugs and a few items. When I got the new magneto it said to remove the drive gear from the old one. Since I don't have the old magneto I didn't have the gear. Saturn has one on the way...
While I have been waiting on a few replacement parts to arrive from a Surplus Dealer for the 4a084 motor in the M51 shelter trailer, I have found some other interesting things. The shelter unit and the generator all seem to be dated from 1968. But the marking on the trailer seemed to indecate...
I see that the valve levers on the end are the older stamped steel ones. Mile Marker has new cast T handle ones that work much better and will swap right on. You can get them right from Mile Marker as replacement parts.
Now we found a new name for Wreckerman. I think we should start to call him "Al Bundy".
I sand blasted it off the frame on my deuce. It takes a lot of effort to get it off.
looking nice Paul, If it is half as clean as your cucv it will be amazing looking. Are you still planning on driving it to Clare? That way I can drool over it in person, instead of on top my keyboard.
I have the 10,500 milemarker on my off-road Jeep and it beats any electric I've ever used before it. It stays at a constant pull where electrics once they get hot start loosing power. One good tip is to put an aftermarket trans cooler in the return line back to the PS pump to help keep fuild...
Nice, the .50 looks like the same one I bought off ebay a few years back that I have on the pedistal mount in my M715. It has held up just fine for a couple of years now, although if I'm going to drive any great distances, I pull it down and stow it in the bed.
Congrats on the 1st place.

Sorry guys but I'm out. The wife reminded me that we had a "family" event on sat. that i must attend. She muttered something about if I ever want to see the light of day on sunday I had better be there sat. With the Clare show coming up I don't want to call her bluff.
Lane, I have a spare that I can loan you for a bit until you can find yourself a decent replacement. It has a few small holes on the back and the window is stiff and cracked but it will keep any rain off your head. Oilcan used it this past winter to get his topless deuce that he bought back...
Anybody seen Lee Houdel lately? Lee are you going to Clare this year, because I'll be rollin' right through Chase, MI. on my way across US10. I'm leaving early morning out of Silver Lake on Saturday and should be around Chase by 8am.
Yep, his post on them is what got me interested in them, but I didn't want to drive all the way south to get one. So when I found this one in Shadyside Ohio near Wheeling WV it was going to be a lot shorter of a drive to get it. I can't wait too get it set up in the next couple of days to...
