I just bought a set from acetomatoco, but I think I cleaned him out of what he had in them. By the way thanks ACE the straps look great and are excellent shape compared to the dry rotten set I have on the truck now.

The straps should bolt to the bows and then through the buckles on the canvas cover. This is what hold it on to the truck. I do know though that at speed, it will lift up the bows and make them rattle. But it does that only at greater speeds, and not at a slow parade pace.

Re-coat 1 to 3 hours or wait until after 16 hrs. Usually by the time I've painted every thing in a set, and have gone back to reload the paint gun, It's been long enough to start back at the first item again.

You can only imagine that the driver is now a few inches shorter after something like that! I know when I hit a bump in the road it feels like I'm getting shorter while behind the wheel of a deuce.

When painting with 24087 make sure that you paint at least three good coats of paint over the red oxide primer or the red will show through the paint making it more brown than green. I sprayed 4 coats on my trucks and they came out nice and dark green. I followed the painting recomendations on...
