It's in this link about half way down and posted by Bjorn http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=356&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=bypass
My truck had been like others recently making oil. Well I figured it was the FDC letting diesel into the crankcase. After reading up on it here on SS I found a good diagram showing the bypass. Now my deuce has been a good running deuce even though as far as I can tell it has never had the...
I love the remains of the recent "April showers" we had here in the background in the pics. Looks like some cold water coming out of the bilge. Looking like it's getting close to being finished.
Mine seams to do the same thing except mine only does it when I travel at highway speeds (55) for extended times (hour or more). Not very much, just a couple of quarts over. But enough that it come out a breather/vent line at the bellhousing. anyone have a clue. FDC? and if so is there a...
Both my M35 and M715 are painted with gillespie 24087 and tons of pics can be seen on my sites, http://www.davidallenracing.com/M35A2.htm & http://www.davidallenracing.com/M715.htm
Piece of cake to fix! there is no need to remove the doors or anything major like that. Just take off the handles and the screws that hold it and fish it out the access panel in the door. I had the same problem with mine and here is how I fixed when Lee asked back last...
Hey Rizzo, I'll take some. I've got a few that are in bad shape on my deuce that needs replaced. I've got a front that's dated 1956 and has some monster cracks in it! I can come pick them up, or you could send with anybody heading to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes to play.
Simple just cut the decals on flat black material. I haven't yet cut a set in flat black for anyone, but I have done some sets in flat white instead of the standard semi-gloss white. As for pic just go here to my site to see pics of decals on vehicles. http://www.i2k.com/~schwarzd/
Concern on decal peeling shouldn't be that big of a deal. Most commercial grade marking vinyl is rated at 7 years, and I have a sign on the front of my shop that's been up outdoors for 15 years and the decals look as good as the day it was hung up. I've had the decal markings on my M715 since...
Looking good. Let me know if you are still interested in decals. It only takes me a few minutes to make them once I have the sizes and numbers you want.
We had a debate about this over on the M715zone awhile back about proper frame color. My 67' had a factory green frame that looks like it was later sprayed with a black rubberized undercoating. And during the stripping of the frame, the green was the last color before the primer. I have a pic...
