On another MV site people were informed to contact me for their VIN INFO. I got a total of 7 emails or PM's within a week through this website, the other website and on my email.
Please stop referring people to me for VIN INFO especially since these folks don't feel the need to do a cursory...
This is a 4 year old thread. The M1061 doesn't have ramps (original). Military never had them for this trailer. You will also have to have ramps made or modified to fit. Also note that the 'holes' in those pieces of metal on the back of the trailer are actually lifting eyes and not mounting...
In a somewhat recent thread someone stated they'd been looking for the retainer for the CUCV M1009 spare tire.
I searched for the post, couldn't find it. If someone will point me in that direction/claim it.
If anyone wants anything thing else, they need to hurry. I'm heading to storage and then to drop it with Shotty. Won't be throwing stuff on his truck 5 minutes before departure tomorrow.

Heck you're still in the central time zone.

How far west in TEXAS are you? Are you as west as I am? My left leg is in a foreign country, my right leg is in the best state in the country and my middle leg is in a state further to the west. Remember, EVERYTHING is bigger in TEXAS.
I think what you are referring to are the white tips for low light visibility. Civilian vehicles did this also. Some good examples of this covered in the World at War series and more specifically the Battle of Britain one or might have been Battle of France one.
I've had similar experiences but have also had 4 individuals that I won't do business with anymore because of integrity issues.
One is a big boy vendor who asked at Aberdeen "How much for the air assist power steering kit?" I said $1400 (this was awhile back yet that price was still a heck...
