HMMWV doors requested loaded + 1 extra set
Rear gate for M105 loaded.
2 extra HMMWV brush guards loaded.
An absolute huge Beverly Hillbilly move for 1700 miles.
Bad weather here expected. I'm running about 4 hours behind. Be on the road shortly after filling up, hooking up and safety check...
I would go around and treat the fire ants on D-1 or 2 and that would help curtail those things. Some Clorox got 'accidentally' dropped in some strategic spots at another time. It helps but it's got to be done a few days ahead and preferably 2 weeks out and then a few days out.
Now all you need is the SINCGARS installation kit and radio and you'll be all set. It connects the radio to VAA. Total value, maybe $5 and that's probably a stretch since so few folks have SINCGARS or even mock setups.
Won't plan on bringing these items unless someone speaks up:
NOS CUCV radiator $250
LMTV metal bows--not sure if it is a complete set but I think so, theres a bunch of them might even be for MTV. $100
Used brush guards for HMMWV all have minor bends in them. $75
WWII 40 mm metal ammo cans...
Will finish packing this weekend...I hope---who invented mothers day anyway. If the dorks at Aberdeen had not changed the dates I wouldn't have to deal with this.
Weather channel is saying 60-70% chance of rain. APG guys are listed as 60% also.
It was both good and sad. Good that this was done in remembrance. Sad that we've lost so many veterans. Also sad that at the end of WWII we filled the sky as far as the eye could see and for hours on end. The sea was filled with our ships. The depths were filled with our subs. Our Army had...
Concur with the others. I've heard the term GET trailers on more than a few occasions. Generator, Environmental Control Unit Trailers. Saying trailers is redundant but that's how they phrase it GET Trailers.
We use to call them DRASH trailers but the BASE-X guys didn't like that too much...

There ya go.
I use a metal camo net pole mounted over the bumper extension and worm clamps through the brush guard. I leave it there 'semi permanently mounted'. Then just put the flag pole into the camo net pole when needed.
Bummer, not allowed to drink on these new meds.
Just kidding.
Will be drinking El Capitain. Bringing an aged big bottle. Found it in the camper from like 5 years ago. Should be well aged by now.
Time for the next generation.
Yes this is posted in the correct forum. It is time now for me to become just another dude standing in the pharmacy line or doctors office or driving 45 in the 65 lane.
