Howdy,
First, it is doubtful the hour meter is correct for the generator.
The generator could have been worked over in the field. It could have been a engine replacement with no meter change. It could have been reset at field level, not at depot level. A number of things could have happened...
Howdy,
To give you some testing results, and video's, you can browse over my load bank thread Acquired a Military Load Bank

Howdy,
Because of the lifting rings, belly fuel tank, I would say it was special purpose for 1st strike airdrop. :shrugs:
The trailer itself is a Silver-Eagle/Schutte aluminum trailer in the M110x line, probably the M1102 known as heavy, (LTL-HC) due to having 2 x 10kw gensets as a power plant.
Howdy,
OK, Let's discuss Coolant.
The Lister-Petter LPW engine design has been around a long time.
The military likes to keep things simple out in the battlefield. Green coolant, Diesel, JP8, Grease.
The Military has been using the standard old world coolant for ever. Why screw with something...
Howdy,
I do not want to get your hopes down, but.... the MEP-903A is or has been known as a black box kinda thing. (cloak and dagger)
There just is not much information available to the public.
Howdy,
Post and such are better in the generator forum.
