    10KW AMMPS DCS trouble codes

Howdy, It sounds like you have a major failure between the DCS (digital control system) and the wiring. Remove the DCS, and remove the 3 connected wire groups, probably undo the ground strap and clean it up too. Look over each of the plugs, and look to make sure no one has smooshed over any...

803 vs central air unit...no go

Howdy, I would say a good fully operational MEP-803A would start the unit. The biggest thing is to run the unit at a good 100% load (not the house) for at least 3-5 hours. That will clean up the genhead, cylinders, valves, exhaust etc... You might be 2 hours into a run, and then notice little...

Mep-803a Fuel or Electrical problem. Will Not Trip.

Howdy, Shame on me. I used it as a layman's term for easier explanation. Your overvoltage fault. It's just easier to say fuse. Your fault panel will light up the fault. The button on the fault panel is also the reset button after that fault clears. Remember how I said it is a timing thing. The...

My 802a in the northeast thread

Howdy, Yes, it also draws oil. Wet stacking causes the unburned fuel to glaze the piston walls, and interfere with the rings, which will lead to oil usage. The culprit could have been a bad break-in procedure too. The life of a diesel is really dependent upon the initial break-in of the...
