    M923A1 Front Axle Bearing/Seal Question

I could not see to well in your pics. There is a washer that goes over the inter axle seal, sometime it is copper looking. That is what the back side of the axle flange rides on.

I like the VP Racing fuel cans, You can find them on &bay and free shipping. They pour nice and do not leak.

    M923 fuel problem

Sounds like you still have an air leak some place, I would check the fuel filter and the pickup tube in the tank. Check out this tread. Also the oring on the bolt at the top of the fuel filter can be a problem. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?79327-M923A1-losing-prime

    Wheel o-rings

The 5/8" and 3/4" is the bolts on the wheels not the lug nut studs. If you look at the Lug nuts they are like 1". Also the hub in the pic is not a M809 or M939 series hub.

    Wheel o-rings

I do not think that is a 5 ton wheel, the lug nut studs or to big.

    Stemco Seals

I just repaired my M932A2 Ctis on one wheel. As it turned out one air seal had moved in the hub and was not hold air anymore. But when I took the hub apart I found that there was not a seal like the A0 & A1's outer oil seal, only the two air seal and the inter seal. So I guess the outer...

    Spicer transmission case repair...

The tread size is 3/8" x16 I think my PTO has all studs and no bolts. Not sure the best way to fix your case. The studs are 3/8" x16 and the nut end is 3/8" x 24 and OAL 2"

    BMY wrecker power divider

I think the Transfar case is the same, it just has a PTO output put on it.

Can a PPV be Deleted on a M939?

I would think if it keeps failing you are getting water in it, so I would think the air dryer is not working right.

    M923A1 Heater

If the valves are off, I would take the hoses off and flush the heater out so the water does not go into the motor. When I got one of my trucks the heater valves were off, when I opened them I found a leak in the heater core and all kind of crap came out of it.

Split rim bolts, O ring, nuts

I get my o-ring from a place here in Phoenix and they are around $5ea. On the 5 ton wheels you need to know if they have 5/8" bolt or 3/4" wheel bolts. The 5/8" wheels take a 3/8" o-ring and the 3/4" wheels take a 1/4" o-ring. I have one if you need one or if need many I can get them for you.

My 1984 M923 AM General maximum speed is 45 miles per hour.

It should be going a little faster then 45 mph with the 11.00x20's. Should go around 50-53 mph at 2000 rpm.
