No offence but the city seems to have their priorities screwed up.
If the look of the truck is scary then it might also be a deterrent to the bad guys.
Funny you keep saying Texas is different then Cali. I'd think Texas of all places wouldn't give a hoot what the people think.
They seem more...
Before I spent a penny I'd find out about registration in your state.
Every state is different laws are changing all over the place .
Are you handy with a wrench?
Because you can save yourself a lot of money if you can do your own work.
Most of the material used in banks, gas stations , DMV's is plastic of some nature. ( its about 2" thick)
You might be able to fit it into a X door window frame some how but the window would be fixed not able to slide down.
Yes you could probably take some AR500 and skin a set of original X...
search and rescue different then using it as a raid vehicle. I believe that is what your original post said.

You have three options .
Go buy a drill motor, borrow a drill motor, go buy a smaller belt.
I'm hoping if you choose either of the first two choices your not going to ask how to use the drill motor.
It's your truck. So it's up to you where you put it.
To me I'd run the military hi back seats with the green or tan cordura. And I have a flat black truck.
Those seats look like there going to get real hot and sticky to the touch on a warm sunny day.
That and there is already minimal space to...
There is a whole lot of weirdness going on in that picture.
If that's where it is currently mounted it's in the wrong place.
If it's where you want to install it . wont it interfere with the rear door closing?
Also will the belt be long enough ? It's kind of low isn't it?
Funny you link your details to a historical club when the modifications go against anything remotely historical to the year of the vehicle you installed it into.
Most historical clubs try and keep the vehicles they represent as original as possible.
Not sure how many HMMWV's came from the...
