I just bought a pristine m923a2 (thanks to Clint) and it has 3 MWO tags. I've searched and can't find what they mean. The are 272-20-8, 272-35-1, and 272-23-2. Any my idea what this means?

I wouldn't go higher than 15w-40 unless you were in 100+ degree weather all the time.

If the front axle was disengaged, and a desplined drive flange was installed on one side, I do not see how this would happen. BUT, ive been wrong before...

I should have been clearer with my question. If I want the added benefit of a locked front axle, but cant justify the $1000 for a locker, could I weld the front diff and run a desplined drive flange on road?

Are they Detroit lockers? If so they only lock when the driveshaft is spinning them. So when you have your front axle unlocked, they wont lock.
