Thanks Ken, we are in a really small town here and our local title office is pretty laid back. I know if I just told the gal, it's a 1990 and explained why she would accept that. I'm worried after they send it on to Boise, that's were the issue would be.
GP's title department is still...
I just downloaded the P2P program for the 939 and spent hours just browsing all the components and diagrams, what a cool program!
Anyway, I noticed there appears to be a 12 volt supply that goes to the heater low setting circuit (569A). Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks light the circuit...
Heck, if they let me go preview it, I guarantee it would have a 1990 stamped right there on the data plate.
I'm sure by the serial number, someone, somewhere could verify what it is. I called my local title office and they were iffy on it. They referred me to the state. The state was...
Having flashbacks of driving a Pinzgauer back to Jackson, WY from Iowa. It was -15, no heat (air-cooled engine, soft top). I stopped in Cabelas in SD and only bought hand/ foot warmers and earplugs. Man that was a long ride. I've never been so cold in my life.
Good job on the recovery...
No SF97 without manufacture year?
Already a hitch with my GP M923A2 purchase. I called about how to pay for the SF-97. The website says it will appear as an option when you're checking out, but it didn't on mine.
I called the rep and he told me I couldn't get a SF-97 because there was no...
New M923A2 Owner, Purchase Ordeal
Kind of an oops and won a truck from GP in Utah.
Can you experts look at what I won and give me your opinions on what it might need? What I should take to recover it, etc. Anything that needs extra attention before I drive it back home (175 miles). I know...
Those are some great looking chains. Bet they weigh a ton! I can only imagine the chore to install them. Wouldn't want to try that in the snow along the side of the road!
I don't get it either. Why are they OK to give to local municipalities, but not the general public? Is it ok to have a fireman or LEO crash and die in one, but not Joe Citizen? If the excuse is they are not safe to be on the roads, then they should not be on the roads...period. At least sell...
Just FYI the aluminum duct works just fine. I'm not crazy about how it looks, but I'm like that. I found a pricier options that looks more original:

To be safe I'ld go with a 6'...
Fixed the defroster (there wasn't any duct hose installed), Installed the winter front. Shoveled a couple feet of snow out of the back. I should have left that in there, the weight made it ride better!
The 3" aluminum duct worked just fine. It was a bit of a pain fishing it up onto the driver's side. I ended up pulling the gauge cluster to be able to reach in and route it up to the duct. Had to disconnect the speedo and tach to do it. The driver side defrost duct sits right above the...
Ha, ha, I'm old enough I forgot it was a video game first. I was thinking of the bad movies with Mila Jovovich. One of the movies even had a Deuce in it!
That box looks like surgical quality. That's way cool. I keep thinking of getting "Umbrella Corporation" magnetic stickers or something. A lot of people totally wouldn't get it, something different than the standard "Zombie Outbreak" stuff.
Great advice on the intake, hadn't occurred to me. I did another take today at 10-12 degrees. Still haven't tried the flame heater, didn't need it. It took a few more turns, but she started and ran great. Took her for a little spin and it dropped to 1F in about 45 minutes. It was...
