I did a 1 hr full load test on mine a couple of weeks ago - and I noticed that my pressure dropped from 40ish unloaded/cold down to 20-30 under load/warmed up. I think I saw a thread where that's "normal". My engine has fairly low time and I don't see any other symptoms/issues, so (along with...
Have been looking at the options for doing that myself - some are really reasonably priced. Haven't decided on which configuration I want yet - my wishlist is pretty extensive, and wavers from day to day, hence the procrastination!
I'm sure that great service (and word of mouth) will pay huge dividends for them, and save others grief of dealing with those who might not have the experience/customer service skills/ethics.
Very nice genset!! Mine had the 2 ground rod sections on the skid also, but didn't have the driver and couplers. I have a store bought rod, but at some point I think I'd like to pick up an original set.
By rock solid, do you mean absolutely no compression - or just normal solid feeling brake?? Had a piece of equipment last month that had an intermittent "rock solid" (not normal) pedal. Come to find out, an adjacent bracket was loose and occasionally wiggled into a position where it jammed the...

When I got mine - I had a similar issue - but when I exercised the switch that selects what output you want back and forth several times (engine not running) it seemed to clean the contacts and I got voltage. I suppose at some point, I need to get contact cleaner and give it a proper cleaning...
I'm no welder, but this reminded of an issue I had about 5 yrs ago with a pressed in heater hose nipple that developed a pinhole leak at the intake manifold of my truck. Ford's fix is to replace the whole manifold (vehicle had 115,000 miles on it with no other issues). As a "hail mary" attempt...
Safe travels - hopefully you can time your trip to avoid Atlanta rush hour(s) traffic. Fortunately the route to the Truck Depot is pretty easy driving. Strap the heck out of it (in case of idiot drivers cutting you off/slamming on brakes). Send pics!!
I'm doing the jerry can shuffle right now, but am always on the lookout for better options. Don't have a fleet of diesels (yet) - so I don't want to store a large amount of fuel that wouldn't get used in a reasonable amount of time. The saddle tank on the trailer sounds interesting - please post...
