Nice truck.
My recovery was about 15 feet. I walked out the front door.....watched him unload and drive into the driveway. I could have made it though from Kentucky to Georgia.:)
SOund goods to me. Clean filters and good fuel probably. I have never calculated my MPG. I fill up every time a go on a long run and use jerry cans to keep the tank full. Probably 8-10 i would guess but that's a A2.
Two options I can think of;
1. Keep hitting it harder.
2. Disassemble the other hub and use a pipe.
Last time I did mine I used a slide hammer on both sides. If i had to do it again I would have disassembled both sides and used a pipe.
Home depot or Lowe's carries a variety of pipe in...
There is a small t handle at the bottom of each canister. Turn the accessory switch on then open the peacock and wait till the fuel turn green. If it clean then you have water in the fuel. If it looks brown then you have sediment in the fuel. There is a video on youtube going over where every...
Just my thoughts but I bought my wife a minivan last year and it's been a great car. It's just like that Sienna in your first picture but in black. It's a real good family and stuff mover.
Have you tried racing a Prius at a red light. That's some fun, when I did it last I kept till I had to...
I would spin the handle all the way out, tighten down the adjusting nut over the brake, and clean every thing up. When you get to the inspection tighten that handle down as far as it can go. The problem is that thing is going to get so tight you can't lift up on the handle.
On a side note mine...
Adjusting the brake per the Tm with feeler gauges takes a while. Took me 4 hours on one drum I got pissed and quit. Came back the next rested got through the rest. You have to take the wheels off though take the cover plate off the drum.
There is a video on YouTube going over the power bleeder...
My secret for what it's worth. Pressure wash to blast off the loose CARC. Them primer from lowes, Rapco green, Rapco brown, and BBQ grill black paint. Let it dry a day and then go over every thing with tire shine. The tire shine gives it that wet look.
I brush in the tire shine and then rinse...
Wow 10k for a bobber. I'd be looking at a 5 ton and with your skills bob it myself.
My advice don't put all your eggs in one basket. If you do buy a deuce for a daily driver make sure you have a backup car. There simple to work on but it's takes alot of time and money.
I have getting air into my fuel lines as well. I think it's my flame heater. I came to this conclusion because I having a hard time starting the truck and my fuel pump not working all the time.
If you did want to check the fuel lines and find a problem they are easy to replace. There...
Another reason not to overfill is that in some cases the vent line for the fuel tank and brakes are interconnected. Overfilling could push diesel fuel into the master cylinder. I believe there was a work order to separate the brake vent and fuel tank vent but on my truck it was never done. I had...
