Those look good man!! Funny you should ask about the bumpers. I've been thinking about bulding a set! Did everything go ok with the install? I haven't got any feedback from the '09 sets I've sent out. Let me know if you had any problems or suggestions with the install.

I like it a lot! I have a little different style in mind but that looks tuff on that tahoe. It will be awhile yet before I start that venture. I'm still buying much needed tools for my shop. Tubing bender is my next big purchase. Got my plasma cutter up and going this weekend, it is AWESOME!!! I...

Yea, she's been pretty easy going so far, but i've put off some things with the house for too long. She told me awhile back that if I wanted to keep buying tools and toys, I was going to have to get a higher paying job or figure out how to make some extra money. Well, I figured out a way to make...

I've promised the wife I will finish up a few things around the house before I take any orders. I will have that stuff finished up by this weekend and start taking orders next week for you guys that are interested. They will be slightly cheaper than the truck sliders. PM me for exact pricing. I...

We'll after going to lunch with the owner of the blazer and a guy with a degree in physics. We've decided that they are strong enough. I weigh close to 260 and when I step on them they do give. While I was stepping on them my buddies were watching from underneath, they agree that a lot of the...

I cleaned them up and sprayed them with some Rustoleum Rust Reformer. I got them mounted up and took a few pics. This 09 doesn't have a lift so the steps are border line too long but with a small lift it would look good I think. They make it super easy getting in and out though. As with the...

That's no problem. We could shorten them up without changing where the mounts go. Just figure out how long you want them.

These are 62" long at the longest point. I need to weigh these to get you a shipping quote. I will get you an estimate in the next day or so. As far as sending them with mounting arms seperate, I don't think it would help you. These only mount in one spot. You won't be able to move the mounts to...

I finished up the Rock Sliders for my buddies M-1009 last night. I need to spray them with bed liner before I install them. Hopefully I can get them sprayed and installed in the next few days. I've got a lot going so we'll see. I changed up the steps because these sliders are a lot shorter than...

    What has your 6.2 pulled ? MPG's ??

That would be awesome to. When the time comes to do something about the tranny, I will look at doing a swap like that. As far as the 6.2 goes, it's not a power house but it has been reliable and gets descent mileage. I'll driver till she quits!

    What has your 6.2 pulled ? MPG's ??

You may be right, but the only time my tranny ever slips is after pulling something for awhile. I also have those heavy 37" H1 wheels and tires so that doesn't help. I may drain my tranny fluid and add some Lucas treatment on top of adding the external cooler. I'm holding off a tranny rebuild as...

    What has your 6.2 pulled ? MPG's ??

Recent camping trip. Two RZR's around 1000 pounds apiece, plus the 12' trailer maybe 1200 pounds. Plus all of our gear. I would guess 3800 pounds total. It was enough to make my tranny get hot and slip. I need to install an external tranny cooler.

M1009 as rugged reliable transportation candidate

Awesome looking rig!! Check that counter balance (harmonic balancer) to make sure its not too woobly.

I will supply some of that padding that goes around pipe just for you 998Junkie!! I really don't think hitting your head will be an issue unless you drive like your running the Baja 1000 hitting boulders like speed bumps. If that's the case I would opt for the ones that hug the roof and use the...
